Dr. John Kazwell
Dr. Kazwell grew up in Cedar Lake, Indiana. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and received a BA degree in molecular biology. He spent two years at the University of Chicago as a research associate before attending dental school at the University of Illinois-Chicago. After dental school he immediately began his four years of oral and maxillofacial surgery training at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. He has been practicing in Ames since 2000.
Dr. Kazwell is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association , the Iowa Dental Association, and the Academy of Osseointegratron.
Away from the office Dr. Kazwell enjoys spending time with his family. He is an active member of St. Cecilia parish and the Knights of Columbus. He continues to work on his golf game with varying amounts of success.
